Hi I love your website it is full of information.
Here are things I like about your website:
1. You made it interesting about your explorer and very detailed telling just the right amount of information.
2. Another thing I like about your website is that you put pictures about George's voyages and maps and pictures of him and memorials for him so it was really nice to see he was well recognized as a great explorer to discover Canada.
3. Lastly one of my favourite thing about your website was that in your background information was really interesting and you even told the story of him like you knew him and it made it that much better with the detail and I really enjoyed learning about George Vancouver.
There were some things though I would also do a little bit differently like:
1. I would've maybe put more interesting facts about your explorer or something that you thought was neat that he did to add some more information.
2. Also I would've maybe done more cool things about him or said more about who came with him on his voyage and more what he did in Canada.
I also have a question about your website:
What was the most interesting thing about George Vancouver you found out?
What was the most difficult part of the project for you?

Thank you very much. I really appreciate it. I have answers to your questions.

What was the most interesting thing about George Vancouver you found out?

The most interesting thing I found out about george Vancouver is he joined the navy at the young age of 13.

Waht was the most difficult part of the project for you?

What was the most difficult part of the project for me was the Story Of First Contact. As I explained in my author's notes, there was not much info on wehn he got to Canada but alot on him getting here.

Thanks for your feedback Liana! I do agree I have to work on my grammar and spelling a bit. I have an answer to your question:

Was it hard to find all this information?

I have to say it all depends on the section I was researching about. Like I mention in my Author's Note, the story of First Contact was difficult to gather information, so this led to me inferencing a bit so basically reading in between the lines. Other parts though like the background information and his Voyages were quite easy to research about. There was the same 3 sentences and every possible way you could word them. This I found very useful. Other topics like the interesting facts and his mission also required activating prior knowledge and putting pieces of information from different sources together.

Thanks fro your comment!

Nootka Sound was not British Columbia, it is a coast beside the outskirt of Vancouver island that seperates Nootka Island and Nootka Sound

This is kinda helpful I still have questions about George Vancouver i hope that this wasn't too difficult to answer all these questions. And as for comments some of them are kinda upsetting to read because you asked that they send nice ones.I hope you know that you've inspired me to make a blog for my school and friends so that's a plus. Another thing I would like to add is that when you did your information how in the world did you get it to not do long strips of words on the right side of the page?!

I created this website as a project for my class. I have to say it was not easy. The part I found most challenging was the story of First Contact. Even though George Vancouver was a succeful explorer,  there was not alot of info on the story of First Contact. The part I found quite easy was the section on my website about his voyage to Canada. There was info from the second he left Britian to the second he placed foot in Canada. I hope this site helps you with any information you may need on this explorer. I hope you enjoyed my site. Please comment and make  any suggestion you may have. Please be kind with your comments.
